I really like her high pitch voice in the songs that she sings. She has a strong voice but yet gentle. It is really easy for me to just turn on her music and relax. This may be because to me her voice is like a mother's voice singing to a child. Anyway this is just my thought.
Why do you listen to Origa?

Origa's music don't bother after listening again and again.
I think, it's because of mix of different languages in songs and various song styles from first album to singles.Posted 1 year ago # -
I don't know...She's just so awesome. I think its because her voice is so unique and she doesn't sound like anyone else in a good way! She also writes almost all of her songs, which is really cool and her voice is so relaxing.

Her voice, her singing style and her music are unlike anyone else and the fact that she doesn't alter that just to reach a larger audience says a lot about her integrity as an artist. I appreciate that she can show her entire vocal range without going through all the gyrations many Western pop singers do. She sounds fearless.
And when I get in my car, plug in my Ipod, put on "Promise" and crank it up, well... what can I say - it's almost better than coffee.Posted 1 year ago # -
I love listening to music in languages I don't understand (partially because -apologies if offensive to some people- some mainstream music nowadays have shallow repetitive lyrics). But with Origa-sama's music even though I don't understand a word she's singing, she sings with much conviction that I feel confident that whatever she's singing is something beautiful. I also have a tendency to feel very uplifted when I listen to her music for some reason.

Well, I've listened to Promise at least once every day since my last post (204+ times) and I STILL crank up the volume when it begins. There's a huge difference between listening to someone straining to put emotion into a song and someone who loves what she does so much she couldn't hide it if she wanted to.
Having her music in my pocket is like carrying a pacemaker for my soul.Posted 5 months ago # -
